Bandit

Bandit is our movie star. He had a small role in the Kevin Costner movie "Open Range", which was made in Canada, southwest of Calgary.
We bought Bandit from Terracana Ranch here in the Robson Valley at the beginning of 2004. Bandit is one of several Terracana Ranch horses who were chosen to appear in the movie "Open Range".
Bandit used to be a dude horse at Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park. Since Bandit has been with us, he has safely carried numerous novice riders on trail rides and even up into the back country, with several river crossings. Bandit is also used as a lesson horse and the kids just love him!
