I had three great months at Falling Star Ranch. Well, actually it was four months, but I spent one month in-between travelling. That's exactly what I really appreciate about Birgit and Marc. They are easy to talk to and very flexible.
Life on the ranch is interesting and varied, and every day is different (except when it rains for three days - at least the entire house is spotless afterwards :-) ). I really enjoyed the work with the young horses and I learnt a lot from
Birgit's horsemanship knowledge. Working with Marc was very entertaining. He sometimes had to have a lot of patience for unskilled workers like me :-). I also loved the road trips to horsemanship clinics and the rodeos. There's always
lots to see and learn. And of course, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. That's the reason I really wanted to do some travelling while in Canada.
All in all, I had a great time and I hope I can visit everybody at Falling Star Ranch again one of these days.
