Farm stay impression? Hmm, not so easy there were so many.. I guess the first thing which comes to my mind when I think about the beautiful scenery of the mountains, the gorgeouss countryside and Birgit's well organized farm with all the wonderful animals is: rain, rain, rain, rain. ;-). I really can't remember having ever had so much rain in 2 ½ month.
Unforgettable? Well, of course all the friendly animals, meeting nice people, watching Chris' DVD's, Heartland and the hummingbirds after long working days, some of our cooking experiences (I still bake my own bread), Bianca's first chocolate zucchini "cake", the rodeos, taking lots of pictures, harrowing the arena after another rainy day, and learning much about groundwork and round penning. Chris Irwin's work with the horses is really impressive and I am thankful for this experience. These are only a few examples, there were so many more situations which left us just "flabbergasted" :-).
