Rockn W Jody

2000 sorrel tovero American Paint Horse gelding

SOLD to the Sunshine Coast, B.C.! Thanks Alana!

Rockn W Jody, barn name Joker, is a very kind, friendly, easy-going, people-loving horse who likes a lot of attention. He is well-mannered and good with farrier/vet.

Joker is started under saddle using non-resistance methods. Joker has been on several trail rides where he proved to be quite bold. He has gone up and down ditches, crossed wet areas and has been ridden along a major highway. Joker has also been on a cattle drive and did very well. He proved to be quite cowy.

Joker is a willing and quick learner with tons of potential. His sire - Billys Bandit Boy - is APHA Open and Amateur point earner in trail and western pleasure.

Comments from Alana, Sunshine Coast

Alana bought Joker in September 2005.

We went for a 3 1/2 hour ride today and I ride him almost every day. He is the best horse for me and I am so glad that I bought him. I play with him for hours all the time. He's Mr. Perfect as a horse so thanx a bunch. Love Lana

Joker is doing really well. He looks like the show horse he really is. Joker now comes when I call and when I walk away he follows and is the best horse I will probably ever have. Thanks again for selling him under-priced. He has many visitors. He makes a lot of neighbourhood people happy. I ride 4-6 times a week and he is a pleasure to ride and handle. I have had at least four offers for him. Usually I get the offers when I ride and people stop me to tell me how gorgeous he is. Anyways he is healthy. Love Lana

Joker is well. We went for our first serious trail ride last weekend. We galloped and cantered so that is a major breakthrough. He is my baby and I am still getting the offers which I don't want. He is just such a nice horse. Everyone loves him. Love Lana

Joker is doing really well. He is happy and looks really good. I get nice comments from people when I ride. He is such a smart horse I don't ever want to be apart from him. Some days I take him out 3 or 4 times. He is the neighbourhood pet, every one in Roberts Creek loves him and addresses him by name. It is pretty cute. So basically I love him to death and anyone who sees me with me him says he looks like a happy, healthy, well trained horse. Love Lana

Joker is doing really well. Lately I have been training him myself and I discovered he loves to run and he also loves to jump. The jumping just started and he can jump easily 2-3ft. He is a very good, dependable horse. I get offers for him every couple of months; I am always like how about not. Anyways he is doing well and is happy. Love Lana

Joker remembers everything you trained him to do. He is able to handle pretty well every new thing that I have put in front of him, and he is especially good with highways and crossing them. I like the fact that I can ride him without a bit. I use a halter and clip-on reins. He seems to have a solid foundation. When I ride with other horses they ask how old he is and why he seems so calm and collected. He is usually the best horse in a group and will be the leader as well as be submissive when asked to move to the back.
Because of Birgit's training and insistence that her horses should at least be able to jump a log, Joker has developed a love for jumping so I take him up to the outdoor arenas and trails and jump him. He can easily clear between 2 and 3 feet.
I have no doubts or regrets about buying the horse and he is worth a lot more than what I paid for him. Love Lana
